Boy oh boy, I absolutely loved working on this EP cover. This was our first EP after 4 years of not releasing any professionally produced music. It was a huge accomplishment after rehearsing and fundraising for us to record. When creating this cover, I knew I wanted to encapsulate who we are as best as possible. A solstice is the time when the Sun reaches its most northerly or southerly excursion relative to the celestial equator on the celestial sphere. However, “Soulstice” is an cappella group featuring 16 vocalists who are all very passionate within music. Incorporating solar design with our classic branded soft colors is just the thing I thought of. The illustrations of each moon phase with a light glow from each soft color was the final choice.
